Brilliant could not have been looked after any better superb staff

So far my experience has been awful! And I've not even had my surgery yet! I've been so messed about and feel so so let down. I was due to have my surgery on 21st July 2017 to which I get a phone call 17 days before my operation with a poor lovely lady having to tell me it has been cancelled due to my surgeon going on study leave! I live in Sheffield so I'm not even in the versinity, they gave me other dates which were not suitable and couldn't get around. I've already booked my train tickets for the 20th July the day before to stay with my mum, my husband has booked 2 weeks off to look after our son, I've booked 2 weeks off from both of my jobs and my mum has booked a week off to help me out to. I then get a phone call off of the same lady saying I can have my surgery on 20th July instead but with a different surgeon but.... I have to come for a consultation the next day, so now I'm having to rally around and ask friends to help me out with my little boy as my husband is working away in London, I've now got to catch a taxi then a train then another taxi to the hospital for a second consultation and then get back home on the same day! It has been a nightmare and I'm so dissapointed/distressed/angry/upset and I feel let down already!

Excellent service from start to finish. The consultant and nurses were very professional but informative and caring. A surprise was the excellent catering!

The hospital feels more personal than a mainstream hospital you feel more at home more relaxed the staff throughout were helpful and attentive
